Our Community

JORDAN (PARENT)

With my wife we have 4 kids that have been through Pathways LA. When we couldn’t afford to watch them, because we had to go to work, Pathways LA was there to assist us. Sometimes people are put in a bind because they don’t have anyone to watch their kids, and Pathways LA is there for their support.

JENNIFER (PARENT)

I started doing some research with the assistance from Pathways LA and was able to locate a child care center near my home. Because of Pathways LA I was able to secure a job and my children are in a safe, learning environment. Once I attended events at Pathways LA I met other parents that have the same challenges and struggles, and since then began to build special relationships. I made a new friend and we now take our children to the park together.

LUCY (ALUMNA)

Pathways LA had people that inspired me to want to continue my education. Hearing that people thought I was smart made me want to become smarter, and people saying that I’m successful made me want to be more successful.

We have been extremely lucky to find help with parenting challenges at home through the Opening Doors classes and Parents Cafes offered by Pathways. Speaking for myself, I really feel like Pathways has helped me become a better mother!
